Victor Gonzalez is a Chilean bassist (Upright and Electric), composer, and educator with over 20 years of international experience across Latin America, Europe, and the United States. He studied at the Reina Sofía School of Music (Madrid, Spain) under Professors Duncan McTier and Tony García Araque, and previously trained at the Conservatorio Profesional Amaniel (Madrid, Spain) and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music in 2017, where he studied with renowned teachers including John Lockwood, Fernando Huergo, Whit Browne, Oscar Stagnaro, James Genus, and Paul Del Nero.

He has collaborated and shared the stage with world-renowned artists such as Dream Theater, Evanescence, Jacob Collier, Terence Blanchard, Tigran Hamasyan, and Nobuo Uematsu, among others. His studio work includes major video game soundtracks such as Super Smash Bros. (Nintendo) and Destiny 2, along with film scores, television series, and albums by international artists.

Based in Nashville, he has been a member of the Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra since 2017 and performs regularly with Bella & The MisAdventures, The Senie Hunt Trio, and TKO Jazz.

As an educator, Victor has more than two decades of experience teaching in Chile, Spain, and the United States. He has worked with students of all ages in conservatories, schools, youth orchestras, and private lessons. His teaching career includes positions at Metro Nashville Public Schools, Intrepid College Prep, McGavock High School, Berklee College of Music Summer Programs, and several youth and children’s orchestras in Chile, in addition to masterclasses and workshops across Latin America.

He is also a lead organizer of community music workshops and youth education programs, creating opportunities for young people to develop their skills and passion for music.
