Alumni Encounter 2026: Classical Next
After touring Bogotá and Berlin in previous editions, the International Alumni Encounter will arrive in Budapest in 2026, in a very special edition that will take place within the framework of Classical:NEXT, the international benchmark fair for classical music and sound arts.
From April 8 to 11, 2026, the Reina Sofía School of Music invites its ALUMNI community to be part of this collective experience, conceived as a space for reunion, professional exchange, and connection with the international music ecosystem.
Classical:NEXT brings together musicians, programmers, agents, cultural managers, institutions, media, and innovative projects from around the world each year. For four days, the host city becomes a space for reflection, exchange, and connection around the present and future of classical music and sound arts.
Dates: April 8 to 11, 2026
Location: Classical Next 2026, Budapest (Hungary)
Application: Free for Alumni of the Reina Sofía School of Music (20 places available)
Reservations available until January 15, 2026.
What does this edition offer?
The School offers its community 20 places to participate in the International Alumni Encounter 2026, which include:
- Full access to Classical:NEXT 2026, with a ticket valued at €550, which allows you to attend conferences, panels, mentoring sessions, showcases, project presentations, and networking activities.
- Accommodation in Budapest during the days of the fair (April 8 to 11).
The places are limited, so they will be assigned in order of confirmation.
