Born in Caracas (Venezuela) in 2004, Alfredo Baldo is an Italian national. Since 2025, he has been studying at the Inditex Composition Chair of the Reina Sofía School of Music, under Professor Fabián Panisello. He is a recipient of an Albéniz Foundation scholarship.
He began his musical journey before the age of three, surrounded by a deeply artistic family environment. He started with the violin, then the piano, and at 14, he focused on composition, influenced by Chopin and Rachmaninov. His style evolved towards an aesthetic marked by contrasts and multiple systems, inspired by Brahms, Schoenberg, Grisey, and Xenakis. He studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where the texts of Wittgenstein and the work of Xenakis transformed his compositional approach towards an epistemological quest for music.
Currently, he is working on expanding the forms of musical representation, with the aim of systematizing sound transformation from a structural and philosophical perspective.
