In this rehearsal, Maestro Orozco-Estrada works with singers and the orchestra on Scene XI. They need to play more piano when Marcellina enters so that what she is saying can be heard well, which is the most amusing part of the passage. They must play together with rhythmic precision, and the singer must give it a character almost as if it were Rossini, but keeping it more controlled without speeding up. He also corrects a syllable that is not correct in tempo, and it is as if she sings a strange letter before the syllables “trato”. Afterwards, they review that same part sung by Bartolo and then Basilio.
They resume from the beginning of the Scene. Finally, they review the end Prestissimo, first without the singers and then with them.
