With the dual purpose of providing its students with experience in this field and enriching its musical offering to society, the Reina Sofía School of Music has created several orchestral ensembles that are comprised of its students and led by School professors as well as guest maestros.
The Freixenet Symphony Orchestra premiered in 2008 at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.
