The afterwork concept has been incorporated into social customs in recent years, as a leisure break designed for co-workers to share a moment of relaxation and fun after the workday.
Transferred to the musical sphere, it is conceived as a more relaxed format, which offers the public a flexible program in which classical music dialogues with other genres, such as jazz or flamenco, in an environment conducive to sharing experiences.
The Albéniz Foundation has launched the Afterwork cycle with the aim of bringing classical music to new audiences, proposing a renewal of the traditional concert format.
