“Estinto è Idomeneo?” – “Tutte nel cor vi sento”
Francisco Araiza, guest professor
María de los Ángeles Gómez Rojas, student
Laurence Verna, accompanying pianist

It must be placed backwards and upwards. Afterwards, do not loosen when singing “Idomeneo”. Take time, breathe, relaxed and concentrated.
For the aria, the professor advises the student to always sing expansively and with a lot of legato. In “sento” there are 3 notes: typical model of dramatic Mozart…the singing must be done as “cabalgato”. The next phrase begins
In conclusion, he indicates that when one sings with a musical concept, the drama comes alone: one must not be carried away by emotion.
