Professor Pichler explains to the students the importance of conscious listening, paying attention to all the details and then applying all the resources to improve the interpretation. They discuss articulation, sound, and vibrato. It is very useful to record oneself to listen to what we are doing and solve it directly, checking the result afterwards. There are three fundamental things to do: study in front of the mirror, record oneself, and use the metronome, since the tempo is one of the most important elements of music. They also work on phrasing, dynamics, harmony, and character.
