Regarding the interpretation of the Minuet I from Mozart’s Serenade K 375, Schellenberger first corrects the phrasing of the initial measures to make it more appropriate, as well as the dynamics and cheerful character, making it less dolce. Furthermore, the professor provides guidance on articulation and the best way to interpret appoggiaturas based on the harmony being produced. After further indications on accents, musical direction, and entrances, Schellenberger discusses the various possibilities for repetitions in the Minuets, citing some Beethoven symphonies as examples. Finally, he advises against making the repetition in this case.
