Isabel Charisius provides some instructions, following the score, on the details that the group needs to improve: the intention in the viola, the vibrato in the violins, the need to unify the bow strokes at the beginning, studying in front of the mirror. She then talks about the character, the most appropriate gestures in the violins, the color in different voices and moments, the intonation in some passages, the importance of body language, the balance of the voices. Next, the students try all the corrections while playing. Professor Charisius focuses on the viola part and gives some advice on how to present oneself to the public and the appropriate attitude to face a performance. She attaches great importance to all aspects related to expression and color.
