The professor congratulates the student after singing and asks him to worry less about the voice, focusing instead on the emotion of being in love to better convey the character of this aria. To this end, she also offers further advice: body posture and gestures must align with the feeling to be expressed; regarding breathing and air support, it would help him to imagine the air flowing towards the back of the lower body and that his neck and back are also open and relaxed, allowing the air to flow all around him. They continue working in this manner so that the voice emerges more freely and without pressure—simpler, without forcing the sound. They also try singing this way while lying on the floor.
