After giving the student some advice on bow changes, Professor Prishepenko works with her on several musical aspects relating to breathing points in the piece, high notes in pianissimo, positive attitude and facial expression, appropriate moments to use vibrato, considerations regarding the orchestra, etc. The professor also provides some explanation regarding the direction of the bow taking into account the phrasing, tempo issues, different staccati in fast passages, and arm weight when playing double strings.
