Chamber music is a fundamental genre in the history of music and for the learning process of every musician. It is both ensemble music and music for soloists, because the listener can distinguish the sound of each performer. Lacking a conductor, it requires a type of shared leadership in which the artists have to coordinate with each other to obtain the best result.
In the Da Camera concert series, students of the Reina Sofía School of Music trained in the program of the International Institute of Chamber Music of Madrid present the fruit of their labor in three formats and live: string quartets, wind groups, and groups with piano.
