Following the student’s performance, the professor questions the duration of certain notes and offers suggestions regarding the various possibilities: the value of the double dot provides an emotional sense. At a certain point, the music stagnates and loses direction. Later, Gothóni provides dynamic indications and insists on certain aspects to prevent it from sounding dull.
