Upon completion of the performance, Professor Ryland Davies corrects the glissando made by the student on the words “senza rancor.” Davies provides instructions on phrasing and articulation for certain points, and offers guidance on the character of Mimì that should be reflected while singing the aria.
The professor also comments on vocal placement, intonation, and breathing, along with other suggestions always taking into account the text and the expression of the words.
