On March 8, we join the commemoration of International Women’s Day by bringing together the voices of Louise Farrenc, Clara Schumann, Pauline Viardot, Rebecca Clarke, and Grażyna Bacewicz. The Name is the Truth, a verse by the poet Chantal Maillard, refers to the pseudonyms that women composers have often had to use to publish their works.
The students of the School were responsible for showcasing the work of great female composers throughout history, expanding our cultural memory and ensuring an equal opportunity creative space. Presentation: María Flores
