Various Performers: Rameau, Zelenka, and Bach

Course
2023-24

The Société Générale Historical Performance Program seeks to expose students of the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía to the diverse performance traditions from the Renaissance (through the Baroque) to musical Classicism, through the study of their stylistic characteristics, repertoire, the history and evolution of instruments, etc. These aspects will enable students to integrate knowledge and practices that until recently were exclusive to specialists, and which are increasingly necessary in today’s musical profession.
