With the aim of expanding its connection with classical music education and contributing to the promotion of cultural activity, DRAX audio and the Reina Sofía School have signed a collaboration agreement through which DRAX audio will offer its facilities and qualified personnel for the recordings of the students of the Reina Sofía School of Music.
Rubén Carregal, Technical Partner-Director of DRAX audio, and Julia Sánchez, general director of the Reina Sofía School, have signed this agreement that underlines the importance of synergies between institutions in which audiovisual quality is fundamental. Thanks to this agreement, DRAX audio will record a 35-minute EP for the five students selected by the Reina Sofía School and will also offer its services under advantageous conditions to all students who require them.
DRAX audio is the leading recording studio in Madrid. With a trajectory of more than 15 years in the audiovisual industry, it has a team of engineers with extensive national and international experience, winners of several awards. The studio develops its activity in the field of sound production and post-production for the audiovisual sector (Cinema, TV, Music, Video, HDTV, 4K,…). Since 2011, it has been located in the center of Madrid, in the legendary Eurosonic studios, a benchmark of the music industry during the 70s, 80s and 90s. Loquillo, Niña Pastori, the orchestra that was in charge of the music for the film “Mortadelo y Filemón contra Jimmy el Cachondo” and “Campeones” (both nominated for the Goya Awards), the pianist Josu de Solaun Soto or Harrison Herman (winner of the I Shigeru Kawai Piano Competition City of Madrid), among others, have recorded in this studio.
