As a tribute to Fryderyck Chopin, the commemorative concert “Chopin Marathon” will be held on the 175th anniversary of his death. It will take place on July 21 in the Pereda Hall of the Palacio de Festivales and will feature the participation of all the pianists of the Encounter.

Chopin, born in Poland and renowned for the profound emotional expression of his piano compositions, remains a timeless figure in classical music. It will be an evening of exceptional performances in honor of his legacy, featuring landmark works such as the Ballade No. 4, the Andante spianato, the Sonata in B minor, and a selection of mazurkas, waltzes, and nocturnes.
