Classical Mondays. Works by Beethoven, Fauré, Scriabin and Chopin

The Santander Music and Academy Encounter brings together the great international masters of music with the new talents of tomorrow. The Encounter’s artistic directors, Márta Gulyás and Luis Fernando Pérez, select each participant through open auditions.

In Santander, around seventy of these young musicians work in the mornings with the faculty in masterclasses and rehearsals. The results of the work in the classroom are then presented in a concert series in which teachers and students share the stage. The programme of concerts and activities takes place in the Argenta and Pereda halls and the María Blanchard Hall of the Palacio de Festivales, at the Palacio de la Magdalena, as well as in various venues across some twenty towns in Cantabria.

Free admission until capacity is reached.

The piano selected for this concert is the handcrafted Yamaha S5X piano.
