In collaboration with the 25th Santander Music and Academy Encounter, Centro Botín is hosting a concert dedicated to composer György Kurtág to mark his 100th birthday.
The recital will be preceded by a brief introduction by Luis Fernando Pérez and Márta Gulyás, Artistic Co-Directors of the Encounter, and by Óscar Colomina, Dean of the Reina Sofía School of Music and composer, who will present the figure of György Kurtág and his connection with the other composers on the programme.
Admission to the Encounter is free until capacity is reached; an invitation must be obtained via the Centro Botín website: www.centrobotin.org. It includes a public presentation of the figure of György Kurtág.
