Academic Concert of the Telefónica Violin Chair

Professor: Christoph Poppen

The Academic Concerts are an essential part of the Reina Sofía School of Music’s training program, one of whose pillars is to consider the stage as an extension of the classroom and as a decisive factor in artistic maturation. In this series, all students perform in the School’s Sony Auditorium, in the presence of their teachers. Performing before an audience gives them the opportunity to showcase the results of their work, as well as to take on the challenges involved in live performance.

The concert may also be enjoyed live via our YouTube channel.
