Academic Concert of the Telefónica Violin Chair
Professor: Christoph Poppen
The Academic Concerts are an essential part of the Reina Sofía School of Music’s training program, one of whose pillars is to consider the stage as an extension of the classroom and as a decisive factor in artistic maturation. In this cycle, the students perform in the School’s Sony Auditorium, in the presence of their teachers. The experience of performing in front of an audience offers them the opportunity to showcase the results of their work, as well as to face the challenges involved in live performance.
Free admission. Ticket reservation is required.
The concert can also be enjoyed live via our YouTube channel, and will feature live commentary via the YouTube Chat regarding the program being performed.
