The action takes place in the Piano Lounge of the imaginary “Hotel Europa”, an intimate and exclusive space where time seems to stand still. At the piano, a musician weaves in the background the invisible thread that connects everyone there: waiters, guests, and patrons who arrive seeking, perhaps without knowing it, much more than a place to sit.
Different eras, different countries, different political and social realities converge within these walls. And it is precisely at this crossroads that the characters find the perfect setting to confess intimate secrets, express long-held feelings, or ask themselves questions they had not yet dared to formulate.
Students of the “Alfredo Krauss” Ramón Areces Voice Chair, under the direction of Alfonso Romero Mora and Christopher Robertson, and with the collaboration of Paloma Córdoba, present this performance as part of Lyric Stage, a discipline that brings together voice and dramatic interpretation to present the opera singer in their fullest artistic dimension.
