The School’s Historical Performance Program presents a chamber music concert in which various ensembles will perform a program dedicated to the Baroque repertoire, featuring works by Handel, Purcell, Locke, Corelli and Telemann.
The Société Générale Historical Performance Programme aims to expose students to the various performance traditions existing from the Renaissance (through the Baroque) and up to Musical Classicism, through the study of stylistic characteristics, repertoire, the history and evolution of instruments, etc.
The Programme features Paul Goodwin as Head Professor, joined on the faculty by Lina Tur Bonet as Assistant Professor of Strings, Marco Testori as Assistant Professor of Continuo, and Daniel Espasa as Assistant Professor of Harpsichord.
The concert can also be enjoyed live via our YouTube channel.
