The students of DaLaNota take the stage at the Sony Auditorium to celebrate the end-of-year concert of this music and social education program promoted by the REDOMI Platform Association and the Reina Sofía School of Music.

Children and young people between 8 and 17 years old from the neighborhoods of central Madrid will be the protagonists of an evening in which the DaLaNota orchestra will perform a repertoire that will traverse different sonic landscapes—from the cinematic force of Velocity to the emotion of Dvořák’s New World Symphony, among others—in a collective celebration of music as a space for encounter, learning, and social transformation. The concert will also include the world premiere of a work of collective creation developed by the project participants themselves.

A concert to enjoy, be moved by, and discover how music can become a true superpower.

DaLaVoz: The superpower of music” is a show created by the team of the DaLaNota Musicosocial Program, featuring an emotional musical journey through some big questions, which will be wisely answered by the cast of children and teenagers participating in the program. During this show, we will transform the idea of superheroes who fight injustice, giving it a new form: a superpower embodied by many people working as a team.

As performers in the DaLaNota Children and Youth Orchestra, we take care of each other and are able to listen to each other with a common and universal language: Music. Our superpower is to move people through music, and by working together, we can achieve incredible things, such as creating a musical work born from our desire to raise our voices against injustice. With the artistic support of students from the Reina Sofía School of Music, the show will feature classical symphonic repertoire and traditional folk music, traveling through diverse geographies and emotional planets, highlighting cultural and artistic diversity, and reflecting on the big question we must ask ourselves: What could humanity achieve if we all worked together as a team?
