Ricercata Wind Quintet of EY

Founded in 2017 at the Reina Sofía School of Music, all members of the EY Ricercata Quintet are students of the School in their respective instrument departments. The quintet currently studies in the Wind Chamber Music Department, under the tutelage of Professor Víctor Anchel.
They have performed in the Entrenotas Series at the ABC Museum of Drawing and Illustration in Madrid, among other venues.
For the 2025-2026 academic year, the quintet comprises Emma-Iona Gherganu (flute); Jimena Miranda (oboe); Flavio Castellanos (clarinet); Juan Carlos Paredes (bassoon); and Samuel Arnau (horn).
