Presented by: Clara Sánchez

The Reina Sofía School of Music held the IV edition of the conference “Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Classical Music”, a hybrid in-person-online meeting with classical music professionals who will reflect, among other things, on the challenges and opportunities of the generation that is taking classical music to different futures. The event took place on Thursday, October 20 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and was broadcast from the Sony Auditorium.

This conference took place within the framework of the Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Innovation Program, developed by the School since the 2016-2017 academic year, in collaboration with the Banco Sabadell Foundation and Edmond de Rothschild Foundations.

The event could be followed in Spanish, English, and Spanish sign language.

Open call for proposals “La Clásica Innova”

In this edition, we wanted to invite the best innovative proposal led by a young classical musician to our stage, and thus open the space to the generation we are addressing.

The call was open to any student, professional or organization in the field of classical music that has an innovative proposal, regardless of its state of completion, in the fields of artistic, social, environmental or technological innovation.

Project presentations were accepted until September 30, 2022.
