Madrid’s new musical hub

A historic milestone for the School

From its headquarters in Plaza de Oriente, the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía is undertaking its greatest transformation since 2008: the integration of the adjacent building, granted by the Ministry of Culture. With more than 4,500 m² of additional space, the School is doubling its operational area to expand its educational, cultural, and social impact.

The School takes a decisive step toward establishing itself as the world’s leading reference in cutting-edge musical training. This space is created to break down barriers and welcome talent at all stages and circumstances, reaffirming our conviction that passion for music knows no age or social context. Through architecture that inspires innovation and openness, we expand our horizons so that only what is truly essential matters: artistic excellence and the potential of each performer.
