In another life, I was a classical ballet dancer and danced in companies such as the Varna Opera or the Russian Ballet of Krasnoyarsk. Later, I directed my passion for art towards cultural management and the direction of stage projects. As a manager and theatre director, I have developed initiatives in different artistic and educational projects. At the Reina Sofía School of Music, I am part of the Development Department, where I collaborate on the Young Artists Summer Camp programme —managing its preparation, production and execution—, as well as on projects with our collaborating companies. Now I don’t dance Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, but I am fortunate enough to hear it performed by the students of the School, as well as so many other repertoire pieces. And, by the way: since I’ve been at the School I’ve been learning to play the viola… and I love it!
