Mercedes Guantes

Although I studied geophysics (I wanted to be a seismologist), my true passion led me to focus my career on classical music and its dissemination through projects that highlight its value. Trained as a pianist and piano teacher, and with a degree in History and Science of Music, at the School I manage and develop musical content for various channels and programs. Within the current technological earthquake, I like to promote initiatives that bring the enormous talent of the School’s teachers and students closer to increasingly wider audiences and educational contexts.
