Born in Madrid (Spain) in 1965, he trained as a pianist at the Madrid Superior Conservatory and was awarded a grant by the Juan March Foundation at the École Normale de Musique and the Paris Superior Conservatory. He has studied with professors such as Guillermo González, Cristina Bruno, Carolina Gangutia, Jeannine Bonjean, Aldo Ciccolini, and Bruno Rigutto.

He has been a professor at the Toledo Conservatory, at the Adolfo Salazar in Madrid, and an Accompanying Pianist in the class of the double bass player Ludwig Streicher at the Reina Sofía School of Music for ten years, an experience that profoundly marked his way of understanding music and pedagogy. He is currently Professor of Complementary Piano at that School and professor at the Majadahonda Professional Conservatory in Madrid.

For several years, he formed a duo with the violinist Santiago de la Riva, with whom he performed at festivals in Spain, France, Germany, Macedonia, and Cuba, and with whom he recorded a CD in 1996 with music by Roberto Gerhard and Xavier Montsalvatge. He has frequently collaborated with the Caja Madrid Foundation in educational concerts for young people.

Recently, he has performed at the Granada International Festival, the María Cristina Hall in Málaga, and those he has done for the Cervantes Institute in Moscow, Rome, Naples, Toulouse, and Rabat.
