Giorgia Delorenzi graduated from the Conservatorio “G. Verdi” in Turin, where she studied with Floriana Valassina and Carla Papini and obtained her master’s degree under the tutelage of Claudio Voghera. With the support of De Sono Associazione per la Musica, she pursued chamber music studies at the Scuola Internazionale del Trio di Trieste, furthered her piano training with Pietro De Maria and Enrico Stellini at the Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo, and participated in masterclasses with Benedetto Lupo, Aldo Ciccolini, Géry Moutier, Andrea Lucchesini, Alexander Lonquich, and the Altenberg Trio. She also holds a master’s degree in Instrumental Pedagogy from the Conservatorio di Genova.
Passionate about the chamber music repertoire, Giorgia is a highly sought-after pianist and regularly performs as an accompanist for string ensembles, Lied singers, and chamber music groups in seasons and series such as those of De Sono Associazione per la Musica, Associazione Concertante, Unione Musicale di Torino, Conservatorio di Torino, Festival Amfiteatrov Levanto, Xenia Ensemble, OSN RAI, Kromme Rijn Concerten Bunnik (Netherlands), and the Cugnon International Chamber Music Festival (Netherlands).
As a collaborative pianist in masterclasses at the Conservatorio di Torino, De Sono Associazione per la Musica, OSN RAI, Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo, and Accademia Melos, she has worked with Dora Schwarzberg, Lukas Hagen, Lucia Hall, Simone Briatore, Sonig Tchakerian, Alessandro Moccia, Thomas Demenga, and Daniel Grosgurin, as well as at the Benedetto Mazzacurati International Cello Competition in 2016 and 2019.
After having worked as a tenured piano teacher at music institutes in Novara and Turin, she currently holds the position of staff pianist at the Conservatorio di Torino.
She was a founding member of Trio Casella: the ensemble trained with Alexander Lonquich at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and with the Trio Debussy, participated in the Parkhouse Award in London in 2015, and received prizes in national and international competitions in Italy.
Alongside her professional activity as a pianist, Giorgia also trained as a violist, obtaining her conservatory degree in 2020; she works as course coordinator and assistant viola at the Xenia International Chamber Music Course for Young String Players and is president of the Associazione Ensemble Xenia.
Since 2026 she has been staff pianist at the Telefónica Violin Chair, with Professor Marco Rizzi, at the Reina Sofía School of Music.
