She holds a degree in Humanities from the Carlos III University of Madrid with the National First Prize for Completion of Studies (2000) and a degree in History and Sciences of Music from the Complutense University of Madrid (2003). In 2009, she obtained her doctorate from the Carlos III University in the Humanities program. She holds a Master’s degree in Gardening and Landscaping from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (2006). She is accredited by the ANECA for the position of Contracted Doctor Professor.

Her musical training includes the Advanced Certificate from the ABRSM (1999) in piano, as well as extensive training in music pedagogy, primarily focused on the Willems method and early music education according to Edwin Gordon’s Music Learning Theory. A member of the Carlos III University Choir between 1997 and 2007, she has received vocal technique and classical singing lessons from Amaya Añúa, Lola Bossom, Santiago Calderón, and David Mason, and, since 2017, with jazz singer Jean-Philippe Guy. She is currently continuing her training in modern singing and jazz with Pahola Crowley. Since 2013, she has directed the Enarmonía music school in Pozuelo de Alarcón, where she teaches piano, music for babies, and musical initiation.

Professor of Art History at the Carlos III University of Madrid (2001-2014), she has continued her academic career as a teacher and coordinator of the Degree in Musicology (2015-2022) at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts of the Alfonso X el Sabio University, where she has also taught the subject of “Methodology of Musical Research” in the University Master’s Degree in Musical Interpretation. She is currently a professor in the Master’s Degree in Musicology and the Master’s Degree in Musical Pedagogy at the International University of La Rioja.

Her main lines of research are the history of art and music, as well as the relationships between them (synesthesia), the history of gardening and landscaping, and the representations of identity. This work has resulted in several research projects, scientific conferences, and publications in journals of recognized prestige. She is a member of the Spanish Society of Musicology.

Since 2022, she has directed a Scientific Writing Seminar at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid.
