He was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain). He studied with Almudena Cano and obtained honors and a First Class Diploma upon completing his Advanced Piano Studies, as well as honors with an Extraordinary End-of-Degree Award in Chamber Music. Later, he expanded his studies with Katalin Némes, Márta Gulyás, György Kurtág, and András Mihály, and received musical advice from Darío de Rosa, Rafael Orozco, Bruno Leonardo Gelber, Cristina Bruno, and Ferenc Rados.
His performances at the Spanish embassies in Vietnam and Tanzania stand out, as well as his concerts at the National Music Auditorium in Madrid; and he has played throughout Europe and the United States. He has made recordings for Sony España, Radio Clásica de RNE, Hungarian National Radio and Television, and the NHK channel of Japanese television.
He has received several awards, including first prize in the “Pedro Espinosa” Piano Competition of Gáldar and second prize in the “Leo Weiner” Chamber Music Competition of Budapest. He is also frequently invited by institutions such as the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE), the Juan March Foundation, and the Musical Specialization Courses of the University of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid). In 1992, he represented Spain by recording a radio program at the U.E.R. Competition.
He has been an accompanying pianist for masters such as Frans Helmerson, Natalia Shakovskaya, Ivan Monighetti, Natalia Gutman, Mihail Kohmitzer, Kim Scholes, Bernard Greenhouse, Lluis Claret, David Geringas, Janos Starker, Philippe Müller, and Miklós Perényi.

He is currently Professor of Piano at the Superior Conservatory of Zaragoza, visiting professor at the Lucena Summer School, and Director of the Santa María del Paular Course in Rasacafría (Madrid). Furthermore, since 1992, he has been a professor and accompanying pianist in the Aline Foriel-Destezet Cello Chair of the Reina Sofía School of Music with the tenured professor Jens Peter Maintz.
