She was born in Bolivia, where she completed her initial studies and graduated from the “Eduardo Laredo” Integral Institute of Musical Training with a Bachelor of Arts and Music degree (piano major).

In 1988, she obtained a scholarship from the Bolivian Ministry of Culture, which allowed her to move to the former USSR to continue her higher education, initially at the Tashkent State Conservatory (Uzbekistan), where she studied piano with Professor B.N. Smalenínof, and from 1989 at the Higher Academic School attached to the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, specializing in Music Theory, where she studied solfeggio with Professors A.Blüm, I.Lapátina, and V.Bazarnova; musical literature with I.Ójolova and E.Tzariova; analysis with V.Fraionov; and piano with N.Grigorieva, among others. In 1994, she completed her studies and obtained the title of Music Pedagogue.

Upon returning to her country of origin, she carried out intensive work in the field of music education, teaching classes at the main artistic education institutions. Due to her merits, in 1999, the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation awarded her the “Robert Stevenson” scholarship to study musicology at the Royal Higher Conservatory of Music in Madrid, where she obtained the title of Higher Professor of Musicology in 2002. Since then, she has been working as a teacher in Madrid, where she is a Professor of Aural Training at the Reina Sofía School of Music, which she combines with her doctoral studies in the program: Spanish and Latin American Music at the Complutense University.

She has worked as a research fellow in the musical archive of the “Joaquín Rodrigo” Foundation and is currently a piano teacher, musical language teacher, and choir director at the Senara School.

Among the specialization courses, the musical pedagogy courses taught by professors Judith Faller and Klara Kokas (a disciple of Kodaly) at the Aula de Música in Alcalá de Henares, and the choral conducting courses with professors Augusto Guzmán, María Felícia Pérez, and Johan Diujck stand out.
