He began his musical studies at the Torrent Conservatory of Music, where he graduated with the Final Grade Honor Award and at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Valencia, where he finished with the End of Degree Honor Award. Later, he attended advanced bassoon classes with Professor Sergio Azzolini thanks to a Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture of the Comune di Bobbio (Italy). A year later, he completed a Pedagogical Aptitude Course at the University of Valencia, and between 1999 and 2001 he studied at the “Richard Strauss Konservatorium in Munich, in Marco Postinghel’s bassoon class (1999-2001). He has also trained under the tutelage of Vicente Merenciano and Salvador Sanchís. He has collaborated with the orchestras of Valencia and Malaga, the Symphony Orchestras of Galicia and Seville, the Orchestra of the Liceu of Barcelona and the Youth Orchestras of Andalusia and the Valencian Community. Between 1999 and 2000 he was a member of the Young Orchestra of the Orchester Akademie Mahler and between 2000 and 2001 of the Orchester Akademie München. He has played the bassoon and contrabassoon in the Collegium Instrumentale of Valencia. Since May 2004 he has been second bassoon and contrabassoon soloist of the Opera of the Teatro Real in Madrid (Madrid Symphony Orchestra). He is currently a contrabassoon professor at the Reina Sofía School of Music.
