She has performed with the main Spanish orchestras and abroad with the Berliner Philharmoniker, Boston Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai de Torino, Bergen Filharmoniske Orkester, Dresdner Philharmonie, Hamburguer Symphoniker, Orchestra Filarmonica “Giuseppe Verdi” de Trieste, and Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, among others.
Her operatic repertoire includes roles such as: Alice in Falstaff, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Violetta in La Traviata, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Morgana in Alcina, Susanna, Il Segreto di Susanna by Wolf Ferrari, Marguerite de Faust, Micaela in Carmen… In theaters such as Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Teatro Real in Madrid, Maestranza in Seville…
Her concert repertoire includes Mahler’s Symphonies No. 2, 4 and 8, Falla’s El Sombrero de tres picos, Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem, Muero porque no muero, Menotti, Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 14, Mozart’s Requiem, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Christus am Ölberge and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Villalobos’ Bacchianas Brasileiras, Haydn’s Die Schöpfung, Stravinsky’s Les Noces, Frank Martin’s Maria-Triptychon… on stages such as the Berliner Philharmonie, Tanglewood Festival, Manchester Bridgewater Hall, Benaroya Hall George Enescu Festival, Bergen Grieg Hall, Teatro Municipal de Cali, Toulouse Halle aux Grains, Teatro Colón de Bogotá, among others.
She studied at the Conservatory of her city and at the Superior de Música del Liceo in Barcelona with Carmen Bustamante. She has received advanced classes from María Orán and Krisztina Laki.
She has recorded for important record labels such as Deutsche Grammophon, Naxos, Licanus, Rtve Música, and Chandos.
Lojendio is trained in classical ballet by the Royal Academy of Dance of London and is a Gold Medalist of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Since the academic year 2024-2025, she has been an assistant professor of the Voice Chair “Alfredo Kraus” Fundación Ramón Areces of the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid.
