Kirill Zheleznov is a Russian concert pianist and composer, residing in Madrid, Spain, recognized for his achievements in both performance and composition.

He is a distinguished alumnus of the Reina Sofía School of Music, where he studied piano with Professor Milana Chernyavska. In 2023, Her Majesty Queen Sofía personally presented him with the Diploma for Most Outstanding Student of the “Fundación Banco Santander” Piano Chair. He also received the Diploma for Best Chamber Music Group (Deloitte Mozart Trio) in 2025.

As a pianist, Kirill has won numerous top-level awards, including the Grand Prize at the “Città di Arona” International Piano Competition (2021) and the Grand Prize at the XVIII “Crimean Spring” International Music Competition. His artistry has been refined through studies at the Mussorgsky College of Music and the Royal College of Music in London as a ‘Kenneth and Violet Scott Scholar’, and in masterclasses with Stanislav Ioudenitch, Rena Shereshevskaya, and Elisabeth Leonskaja, among others. He has performed in prestigious international venues, including the Vienna Concert Hall and the Yehudi Menuhin Hall in Brussels.

His work as a composer has also garnered international recognition. In 2024, he won First Prize in the International Music Competition dedicated to Igor Stravinsky for his work “Piano Trio No. 1, ‘El Prado'”. Other awards include Second Prize in the International Music Competition dedicated to D. Shostakovich (2025) and multiple Platinum and Gold awards in the Erik Satie International Competition (2024). Kirill has also contributed significant scores to film, including “An Eye For a Window”, winner of the ‘Best Student Film’ award at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Festival in 2019.
