Madrid, November 29, 2023.- With the aim of promoting the training of young professional musicians and contributing to the dissemination of culture, Pérez-Llorca and the Reina Sofía School of Music have signed a collaboration agreement.
Paloma O’Shea, Founding President of the Reina Sofía School of Music, and Pedro Pérez-Llorca, Managing Partner of Pérez-Llorca, this afternoon signed a collaboration agreement whereby the law firm will participate in the work of the Reina Sofía School, a musical institution of great international prestige, based in Madrid. The event was also attended by Julia Sánchez, General Director of the School, and Isabel Jiménez, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility of the law firm.
For the Reina Sofía School, this agreement is part of its proactive policy of creating alliances with relevant and prestigious organizations and institutions that help it to develop and extend its mission of supporting highly talented young people in their personal and artistic development; and bringing the best music to all audiences.
Through this agreement, Pérez-Llorca will support the creation of a chamber group within the Reina Sofía School that will bear the name of the entity from the current academic year 2023-2024, the “Haydn Quartet of Pérez-Llorca“. This agreement underlines the importance of ensemble music in the training of a musician as an indispensable complement to their skill as a soloist and participation in an orchestra. Likewise, the signing of this agreement underlines Pérez-Llorca’s commitment to shared values such as quality, talent and inclusion, as well as its commitment to the development of the arts and music.
The performers who make up the Haydn Quartet of Pérez-Llorca in the current academic year 2023/2024 are: Cecilia Novella, violin; Jimena Rojas, violin; Adriana Snape, viola and Alba Urbano, cello. In the image, we can see Pedro Pérez-Llorca with the members of the quartet.
Likewise, Pedro Pérez-Llorca, Managing Partner of the firm, joins the Board of Trustees of the Reina Sofía School, the highest body of representation of this professional center.
