The Reina Sofía School of Music and Fundación Casa de México in Spain foster Mexican musical talent

Madrid, March 3, 2026.- The Reina Sofía School of Music and Fundación Casa de México in Spain have signed a collaboration agreement to support the training of young Mexican musicians at one of Europe’s most prestigious centers for advanced musical specialization, through the Fundación Casa de México in Spain Scholarship program in its Academic Training category.

The agreement includes a full tuition scholarship per academic year for Mexican students who have successfully passed the Reina Sofía School of Music’s audition process and are admitted to its master’s programs.

The call for applications for this and other Academic Training scholarships will be open from March 9 to April 12, 2026, and applicants can register on the website: becas.casademexico.es/formacion-academica

This initiative reinforces the commitment of both institutions to promoting young talent, artistic training, and strengthening cultural and educational ties between Mexico and Spain.

Promoting Training and Cultural Exchange

The collaboration is part of the Fundación Casa de México in Spain Scholarship program, aimed at facilitating access for Mexican students and professionals to internationally renowned academic institutions, and aligns with the Reina Sofía School’s mission to promote the training of top-level musicians and the dissemination of music.

This scholarship will allow a young Mexican musician to develop their full artistic and personal potential at our School.”
