The Reina Sofía School of Music Offers Free Audiovisual Content on its Digital Channels.

Madrid, March 19, 2020. The Reina Sofía School of Music wishes to do its part to make the situation of mandatory home confinement more bearable for all citizens. To this end, it offers everyone the possibility of enjoying the free audiovisual content available on its digital channels.

  • School Channel: Integrated into its website, it offers more than 420 videos of concerts and master classes. Concerts of all types and formats can be enjoyed: recitals, orchestra, chamber music, etc., not to mention a selection of content for children and families with the “Fun Classics” cycle. In addition, master classes by great masters who have passed through the School, such as Lorin Maazel or Menahem Pressler, among others, can also be found.
  • On its YouTube channel: you can watch interviews with the great artists who regularly visit the School to share their experience and knowledge with the students. Among others, there are videos with Gustavo Dudamel, Javier Camarena, Gautier Capuçon or Teresa Berganza. In addition, you can also watch the conferences organized within the School’s entrepreneurship and innovation program (e.g.: “How to Give it Your All” by Zapata Tenor), a project that offers students the possibility of developing skills that go beyond interpretation; as well as didactic videos of musical appreciation (e.g.: workshop “Enjoy the Music”), with commented interpretations, which help the public to delve into the works and enjoy their diverse facets and nuances.
