Madrid, December 17, 2020.- The Reina Sofía School of Music has opened the registration period, until February 11, 2021, for its selection process for all young musicians interested in pursuing any of the studies it offers: Higher Degree, Master’s Degree in Performance, Preliminary Studies and Diploma in Musical Performance.
The selection of students is made through an audition process, in which the only criterion is talent. With an average admission rate of 6%, the Reina Sofia School is one of the most selective in Europe. These tests will be carried out in April 2021 according to the chosen specialty.
At the Reina Sofía School, all students enjoy free tuition, thanks to scholarships provided by patrons, and, in addition, it has a system of diverse financial aid to make it easier for students to cover all their needs during the course. The only payment that students must assume is 1,200 euros as a place reservation fee.
The musical studies offered by the Reina Sofía School include: violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, piano, voice and composition.
Each year, more than 150 students of more than 30 nationalities study at the School, considered one of the best in Europe, where they receive personalized instruction from leading professors of international prestige, and have the opportunity to perform in the extensive program of concerts that the School organizes annually in its auditorium and throughout Spain.
