Daniel Alejandro Cristóbal

Born in Salta, Argentina, in 1995. Since 2023, he studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music’s Composition Chair with professor Fabián Panisello. He has been granted scholarships by Teresa Bulgheroni and Fundación Albéniz.

He began his musical training in the Pacheco Arevalo family’s Conservatory of Salta and continued his studies under the guidance of professor Arturo Botelli in piano at the Salta District School of Music, and with Pablo Herrera who taught him musical theory in private lessons. Between 2014 and 2020 he studied a Degree in Composition at the School of Arts and Musical Science of the Catholic University of Argentina receiving the highest grades. He studied with maestros like Diego Gardiner, Eduardo Checchi, Federico Wiman, and Marcelo Delgado. Additionally, he particularly focused on the orchestral score with Maestro Giovanni Panella. Between 2021 and 2023, he studied a diploma programme in Contemporary Music with a major in Composition at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory in Buenos Aires.
