Daniel Domínguez Quintero

Born in La Habana, Cuba, in 2000. Since 2023, he studies at the Reina Sofia School of Music’s “Alfredo Kraus” Fundación Ramón Areces Voice Chair with professor Juliane Banse. He has been granted scholarships by Fundación Ramón Areces and Fundación Albéniz.

His artistic career began in 2019, when he started taking individual lessons with the soprano Milagros de los Á. Soto Castillo, until 2023. Simultaneously, he received private classes on Theory, Solfège and History of Music by PhD(c) Paula Sánchez. Additionally, he has attended masterclasses by Bo Skovhus, among others.

In 2022, he was a member of the company named National Lyric Theatre of Cuba (TLNC), participating in the opera “Fidelio” by Beethoven as the main character Florestán, and he made his debut as soloist at the San Remo Music Awards Cuba with the National Symphony Orchestra in the Concerto De Verdi a Morricone, conducted by maestro Enrique Pérez Mesa. Additionally, he was invited as soloist in the Tribute Concert to Enrico Caruso, he performed twice before the President of the Republic and participated in the 60th anniversary Gala of the TLNC. He also took part in a masterclass with tenor Rolando Villazón.

He holds a law degree from the University of Havana.
