At the end of the performance, Professor Ryan Davies corrects the student's glissando on the words "senza rancor". Davies gives phrasing and articulation instructions for some points, and he makes indications about the Mimì's character that she should reflect when singing the aria.
The teacher also makes comments on voice placement, tuning and breathing, as well as other suggestions, always taking into account the text and what those words express.
