The Santander Music and Academy Encounter brings together the great international masters of music with the new promises of tomorrow. The artistic directors of the Encounter, Márta Gulyás and Luis Fernando Pérez, choose each of the participants through open auditions among the students of the most prestigious schools in Europe. In Santander, around sixty of these young people work in the mornings with the teachers in master classes and rehearsals. The result of the work in the classroom is then transferred to a series of concerts where teachers and students share the stage.

In this concert the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Péter Csaba, will perform works by Brahms and Ravel in the Sala Argenta of the Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria.
