Born in Campo de Criptana (Spain) in 1996. Since 2026, he has been a student at the Zubin Mehta Chair of Orchestral Conducting at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía, with Professor Nicolás Pasquet. He holds a scholarship from the Fundación Albéniz.
He completed his orchestral conducting studies with Arturo Tamayo in Donostia-San Sebastián and Lugano, and subsequently with Laurent Gay at the Haute École de Musique in Geneva. In 2024, he participated in the conducting academy of the Lucerne Festival and furthered his training in masterclasses with Jaap van Zweden, Peter Eötvös, and George Benjamin, among others.
His awards include the Neeme Järvi Prize in 2022 and the Second Prize at the Juventudes Musicales de España Competition in 2023.
He has worked with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, the AVS Philharmonie, and the Orchestre des Pays de Savoie. In the field of contemporary creation, he conducted the Arxis Ensemble in the Galician premiere of Helmut Lachenmann’s Mouvement (-vor der Erstarrung) and Pierre Boulez’s …explosante-fixe… alongside the Ensemble Intercontemporain. Additionally, he has conducted productions of Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, and Ariadna Alsina’s Dernière Expédition au Pays des Merveilles and IKARIA. He is currently assistant conductor of the Ensemble Intercontemporain and the Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España, collaborating regularly with Pierre Bleuse and David Afkham.
