Born in Campo de Criptana, Spain, in 1996. Since 2026, he has been studying at the Zubin Mehta Conducting Chair of the Reina Sofía School of Music, under the guidance of Professor Nicolás Pasquet. He has been granted a scholarship by Fundación Albéniz.
He studied orchestral conducting with Arturo Tamayo in Donostia-San Sebastián and Lugano, and later with Laurent Gay at the Haute École de Musique de Genève. In 2024, he took part in the conducting academy of the Lucerne Festival and furthered his training through masterclasses with Jaap van Zweden, Peter Eötvös and George Benjamin, among others.
Among the distinctions he has received are the Neeme Järvi Prize in 2022 and Second Prize at the Juventudes Musicales de España Conducting Competition in 2023.
He has worked with the Castile and León Symphony Orchestra, the AVS Philharmonie and the Orchestre des Pays de Savoie. In the field of contemporary music, he conducted the Arxis Ensemble in the Galician premiere of Helmut Lachenmann’s Mouvement (-vor der Erstarrung) and Pierre Boulez’s …explosante-fixe… together with the Ensemble Intercontemporain. He has also conducted productions of Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, Dernière Expédition au Pays des Merveilles and Ariadna Alsina’s IKARIA. He is currently assistant conductor of the Ensemble Intercontemporain and the Spanish National Orchestra and Choir, working regularly with Pierre Bleuse and David Afkham.
