Principal bassoonist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam since 1995, he previously held the same position with the Bamberger Symphoniker. He has collaborated on numerous recordings with the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, recording repertoire for prestigious labels such as Channel Classics and Pentatone.
A space dedicated to the learning and improvement of the clarinet, where students develop technical, interpretative skills and their expressive capacity under the guidance of experts passionate about music.
