El aclamado violinista y profesor de violín de origen kazajo Zakhar Bron comenzó sus estudios en la Escuela de Música Stoliarski en Odessa y más tarde en la Escuela Gnessin de Moscú con Boris Goldstein, finalizando su formación con una Licenciatura en el Conservatorio Tchaikovsky con Igor Oistraj.

Ha sido galardonado en los más prestigiosos concursos internacionales: el Chaikovsky en Moscú, el Queen Elizabeth en Bruselas y el de Indianápolis en Indiana. Ha trabajado con directores de la talla de Chailly, Noseda, Ceccato, Eötvös, Jurowski, Denéve y Neuhold, con orquestas del mundo entero. Toca regularmente en importantes escenarios internacionales.
