The acclaimed violinist and violin professor of Kazakh origin, Zakhar Bron, began his studies at the Stoliarski School of Music in Odessa and later at the Gnessin School in Moscow with Boris Goldstein, completing his training with a Bachelor's Degree at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Igor Oistraj.

He has been awarded prizes at the most prestigious international competitions: the Tchaikovsky in Moscow, the Queen Elizabeth in Brussels, and Indianapolis in Indiana. He has worked with conductors of the stature of Chailly, Noseda, Ceccato, Eötvös, Jurowski, Denéve, and Neuhold, with orchestras from around the world. He performs regularly on major international stages.
